• Our facility is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, offering a wide range of services, including 24/7 emergency care, surgical procedures, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke treatment, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, which includes overseeing patient care and managing staff assigned to them.
• This role may involve serving as Charge Nurse, with responsibility for maintaining professional standards.
• Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations is essential to ensure patient safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma
• A valid New Mexico Nursing license or a compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position, prior to delivering direct patient care.
• The hiring department may also require ACLS and/or PALS certifications.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty area.
• At least 2 years of general nursing experience.
