This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to high-quality architectural sheet metal production in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train someone who is motivated and ready to learn!Key Responsibilities:Program and operate CNC folding and shearing machines to fabricate light gauge architectural sheet metal components.Work on various machinery in accordance with the daily work load with a primary focus on programming a Trumpf TruPunch rotary punch machine.Maintain and monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.Collaborate with warehouse staff to unload deliveries and manage material handling using a forklift.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.Assemble fabricated components using various hand tools, power equipment, and soldering equipment if required.Flexibly support additional tasks and duties as needed to meet team goals.Qualifications:Proven experience operating computerized metal folding and shearing equipment, preferred.Ability to operate a CNC machine utilizing a combination of proprietary software and generic CAD programming.Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate effectively.Basic mathematical skills required; ability to take accurate measurements and read technical drawings is a plus.Previous experience in the architectural, construction, or design industry preferred.Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Forklift certification is a plus; training is available.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Why Join New Castle Metal?
