AUDIO & MEDIA TECHNICIAN

Part-Time | As Needed Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is seeking a dependable and skilled Audio & Media Technician to support worship services, concerts, weddings, funerals, and special events. This role is ideal for someone with live sound or production experience who enjoys using technology to create engaging experiences while working alongside musicians, staff, and volunteers. Responsibilities Operate and mix live audio for worship services and events. Run presentation and media systems, including slides and visual content. Assist with livestream and video production as needed. Set up, test, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/video equipment. Support musicians, pastors, staff, and volunteers during rehearsals and events. Help ensure a professional, welcoming, and distraction-free worship environment. Qualifications Experience with live sound reinforcement in a church, theater, concert, or event setting. Familiarity with digital audio consoles, wireless microphone systems, and presentation software. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a live production environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Experience Allen & Heath digital consoles ProPresenter Livestream production Audio networking systems (Dante or similar) Schedule This is a flexible, part-time position scheduled as needed. Typical opportunities include weekend worship services, concerts, weddings, funerals, holiday services, and special events. Most shifts are scheduled in advance.
