We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signs.
• Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason.
• Perform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.).
• Support providers during exams and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows).
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.

• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer systems, phone communication, and documentation.
• Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and respect for diverse populations.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the medical field preferred.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
