Traveling Diesel Mechanic

Ecowaste Solutions Job PostingAs a Roving Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic at Ecowaste Solutions you will be deploying to business units experiencing staffing shortages, performance challenges, or newly acquired locations performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. Your responsibilities will include completing work orders with proper coding such as reason for repair, detailed description of condition, cause, and correction, as well as properly completing the warranty process. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical in these roles.Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds fleet equipment components correctly.Informs management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices, and suggests corrective actions.Identifies and informs management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and takes steps to solve issue if possible.Correctly completes complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.Maintains a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.Performed additional duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Valid state issued CDL driver's license preferred but not required.Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with specialty in Diesel.Experience in advanced diagnostics.Willingness and ability to travel extensively on short notice.Pay & Benefits:Weekly pay!Per Diem for days away from homeMultiple Health Plans to choose fromDentalVisionWe Pay for basic Life Insurance!100% Company Paid Long-Term Disability InsuranceRetirement Plan with a company match of up to 5%Safety and Retention Incentives!Paid Time OffAccess to employee discount through LifeMart!Ecowaste Solutions and subsidiaries offers a competitive base salary, opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
