Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Medicine
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering critical care to a diverse patient population.
Position Details
- Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per month
- Call Requirements: No call required
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 25
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Electronic Health Record: Paragon
- Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, pediatric, and urgent care
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Years of Experience: 2+ years in Emergency Medicine
- Education: Relevant nursing degree from an accredited program
Skills and Attributes
- Must Have Skills: Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Preferred Skills: Experience with a variety of emergency medical procedures and technology
- Personality Fit: Team-oriented, effective communicator, compassionate and focused on patient care
