Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Lactation Consultant

Schedule: 8-hour Days

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Requirements:
- Current RN License in Massachusetts
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, and IBCLC or CLC
- 1-2 years of experience as an RN with a minimum of 1-2 years in lactation support
- EMR experience preferred: EPIC
- Must provide recent references and a skills checklist that matches the specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide expert lactation support and education to new mothers.
- Assist in the establishment of effective breastfeeding practices.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote optimal feeding outcomes.
- Document all care provided and ensure compliance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; it cannot be guaranteed after confirmation.
- Must provide NURSYS report and verify license status within the last 7 days.
