• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day/Night rotating shift 7:00 AM7:30 PM / 7:00 PM7:30 AM (3x12s only). Shifts may be variable; if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital, every effort will be made to honor preferred shift, but the hospital reserves the right to rotate if necessary.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a major hospital main campus. There is potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population. This is an Auto Offer position for 3x12 schedules only.

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for (preferable within one location, but combined experience is acceptable)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience travel experience will suffice

Nice-to-Have Experience

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Required Skills

• ECG rhythm recognition
• Must be able to complete and achieve an acceptable score on both the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (acceptable score on both is required)

Education Requirements

• Must have permanent Ohio RN license OR Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• AHA or facility-approved BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Traveler must work at least every other holiday
• COVID-19 vaccination required medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccination required medical/religious exemptions only

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue the assignment
