Required Qualifications - Orthopedic Surgeon

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Minimum 1 year of experience in orthopedic surgery or equivalent clinical training
• Active Pennsylvania medical license in hand or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) approval
• Ability to provide ED call coverage, inpatient floor consults, and post-operative follow-up
• Effective communication and collaboration with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide ED call coverage for orthopedic trauma and urgent cases
• Perform inpatient floor consults for orthopedic needs and acute injuries
• Conduct surgical cases originating from the ED and scheduled OR procedures
• Deliver comprehensive post-operative care and follow-up outpatient visits
• Collaborate with hospitalists, ER providers, nursing, and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
