Security Officer

Responsibilities Provide basic security coverage to ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and company assets. Ensure proper security for all transfers of money within the casino and hotel areas. Patrol casino areas to establish a security presence and report any unusual situations or suspicious persons. Complete all required checklists for inventory and inspections of supplies and equipment. Notify a Supervisor of any problems with equipment or supplies and document supplies that require replenishment. Replace supplies as necessary and report missing supplies to a Supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous customer‑service experience preferred. Present a professional appearance while displaying excitement, enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality. Deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere where guests want to return, providing a positive, memorable experience. Communicate effectively with guests in English. Will obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations prior to an offer being extended. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a smoking environment. Must work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear for extended periods. Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception are required. Position requires bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment up to 25 lbs. The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
