Cyber Security Analyst II

DescriptionTechFlow Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst II to support a mission-critical DOD platform that enables collection, analysis, and secure exchange of data from Transportation Security Equipment. In this role, you will help protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the systems that support transportation security operations by monitoring cybersecurity risks, implementing security controls, supporting compliance initiatives, and responding to potential threats. Working alongside systems administrators, engineers, and IT professionals, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure, resilient environment that supports critical government operations while contributing to TechFlow's collaborative, employee-owned culture.Hybrid Remote: (Must have the ability to attend in person meetings Northern VA/DC Metro area) Key Responsibilities:Establish and implement system-wide information security requirements through comprehensive analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demandsCoordinate with customer organizations to define security programs, allocate resources, and identify organizational risksSupport the maintenance and operation of the Security Technology Integrated Program (STIP) platformEnsure communications control and data retrieval functionality for transportation security systemsExtract and analyze data from Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) to generate actionable security intelligenceDevelop and deliver security reports to stakeholdersFacilitate information exchange between internal systems and other data sources within the transportation enterpriseMonitor compliance with security policies and regulatory requirementsIdentify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security postureCompensation: $120, 000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security rolesDemonstrated experience establishing and managing information security requirementsProven ability to work effectively with customer organizationsKnowledge of security policies, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practicesTechnical understanding of IT systems, data management, and security architectureAbility to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance Preferred QualificationsSecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent)Experience with transportation or government security systemsProficiency with security tools and platformsExperience with data analysis and reporting toolsStrong project management and stakeholder communication skillsWorking EnvironmentThis position may require occasional travel to customer sites and flexibility in work hours based on project requirements.#techflowBenefitsFounded in 1995 at the start of the dot-com revolution, TechFlow helped large commercial clients such as Dreamworks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize their business systems.
