To successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments, the Mobile Engineer is expected to demonstrate technical expertise in one craft area (e.g. Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, etc.) and be multi-skilled in others.Areas of ResponsibilityMaintenancePerformance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.Maintain HVAC systems and equipment at optimum levels (e.g., cleaning, inspecting, changing parts).Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities.Monitor pricing and work quality of outside contractors.Where necessary, record readings and adjust to ensure proper operation of equipment.Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.Review monthly Client Service Request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems.Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Assist the Facility Management team with emergency situations (e.g., fire alarms, chemical spills, hazardous conditions, inoperative critical equipment) and take appropriate actions.SafetyComplete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.Must complete all required safety training as scheduledPractice Defensive Driving at all timesDrivingPosition requires a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.Driving for long periods of time.AdministrativeSubmit P-card Receipts DailyUpdate work order status in real timeUtilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.Perform Vehicle Safety InspectionEscalating problems or issues to Customer and Manager in a timely mannerAttend work and safety meetings as requiredAll other duties and tasks assigned.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to perform all work using the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Strong Customer Service skillsStrong Interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of computer applications, including Word and ExcelEducation/TrainingHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMinimum of two years of college or related trade schoolingMinimum of four years' experience in the electrician trade or related field – or minimum of four-years' experience in the HVAC/refrigeration trade or related fieldOther abilitiesMust be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.Certifications/licensesHVAC technicians must have a Universal CFC.High School diploma or GED equivalent.Licenses as required by authority having jurisdictionPhysical work requirements and work conditionsLifting up to 80 lbs.Working from heights.Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot).Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.Expected compensation for this position:83,200.00 – 87,360.00 USD per yearFinal compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.Location:On-site –Denver, COIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
