For information about the benefits offered, please visit the Benefits web site. Responsibilities Support program recruiting and selection of athletes for the sport of baseball. Teach and monitor student-athletes’ progress in academics and athletics during their tenure at LCC. Focus on academic success and developing citizenship to ensure outstanding representation of the College. Develop student athlete athletic abilities within the sport of baseball; follow rules and guidelines in accordance with NJCAA and MCCAA. Work with Head Coach in developing preliminary budget, schedules, travel and equipment needs. As needed, may be required to transport athletes using a College owned vehicle. Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process. Required Qualifications High school Diploma. Demonstrated knowledge of sport training and sport strategies. Valid Driver’s License with less than 3 points. Preferred Qualifications Experience with athletics at the Community College level. Experience coaching baseball at the high school level or above. Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations.
