Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for projects located in or around Valencia, CA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
• Select and install correct machining parameters and control settings
• Regulate variable factors during the manufacturing process
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical specifications
• Establish tooling requirements, setup procedures, and operational sequences
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections
• Utilize precision measurement equipment and OGP inspection programs for valves
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues to maintain quality and efficiency
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven ability to program, set up, and operate multi-turn CNC lathe machines
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment
• Experience using OGP inspection programs
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and planning sheets
• Working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
