Financial Data Analyst

Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and automate a suite of financial reporting tools, spreadsheets, templates, and applications. Support the Payments: Consumer and Small Business (PCS) Finance group by querying information from a data warehouse and performing ad‑hoc data mining and financial analysis. Assist in the construction and development of financial applications and other tools using MS Access, MS Excel, VBA, and SQL. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Typically three or more years of related experience. Preferred Skills / Experience Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization. Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality work. Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD for Oracle, Netezza, and/or SAS. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Power BI and SharePoint. Extensive experience with MS Access and Excel, including pivot tables. Background in Finance, Accounting, or Managerial Reporting. Strong process design, documentation, and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Location Expectations Must work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
