You’ll monitor and support the operational Wi-Fi network, upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and analyze current working infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.You’ll apply your knowledge in access control, routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Navy evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in software and hardware firewalls, Aruba hardware, access management systems, Palo Alto firewalls, virtual routing and forwarding, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on critical projects. The world can’t wait.**You Have:*** 2+ years of experience in enterprise networking roles* 1+ years of experience in network engineering and troubleshooting* Experience with IP networking solutions* Experience with access control solutions and account management* Knowledge of TCP/IP and data network protocols, and protocol analysis tools, such as tcpdump or Wireshark* Knowledge of DoD network deployments, STIGs, and IA compliance standards* Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams* Ability to work on a rotational shift schedule to provide 24x7x365 coverage, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays* Secret clearance* HS diploma or GED**Nice If You Have:*** Experience with firewalls, such as Palo Alto or Fortinet, NAC, and network security policies* Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and routing protocols, such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, or BGP* Knowledge of scripting or automation tools, such as Python or Ansible* Knowledge of cloud networking, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP* Bachelor’s degree in a CS, IT, or Engineering field* DoD 8570 Certification, such as Security+ Certification* Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Network+ Certification**Clearance:**Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.**Compensation**At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
