Mold MakerBoxborough, Massachusetts, United StatesKey ResponsibilitiesBuild new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining equipmentRepair and modify existing molds using CNC and manual machining equipmentDisassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds for repair and evaluationReview and interpret drawings and modelsOperate lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other manual/CNC equipmentUse precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges) to ensure tight tolerance machining and final fittingCollaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company and industry safety standardsPerform other Tool Room-related duties as assignedMust HavesPrevious experience in mold making, repair, or modificationProficient in both CNC and manual machining processesAbility to interpret complex blueprints and work with tight tolerances
