Old Dominion - - Responsibilities: Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations governing hours of service, inspections, and hazardous materials transportation; Load and unload freight on trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or manually in compliance with DOT guidelines; Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, or other securing devices; Read and interpret shipping labels and freight paperwork (shipping orders, manifests, freight bills); Maintain logs and ensure compliance with DOT regulations; communicate with service center personnel to meet schedules
