Payroll & Accounting Specialist
Looking for competitive pay, top benefits, and a key financial role? Twin City Staffing is hiring a payroll & accounting specialist to join a growing team in Saint Paul, MN. In this position, you will process biweekly payroll, audit employee expense reports, and reconcile inventory balances across Fishbowl and QuickBooks.
Location: Saint Paul, MN (Onsite) Wage: $24.00 – $27.00/hr. Hours: 1st Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the payroll & accounting specialist:
- Process biweekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and part-time staff while reviewing timesheets, deductions, and earnings
- Audit employee expense reports to ensure receipt verification and company policy compliance
- Reconcile monthly inventory balances between Fishbowl and QuickBooks systems to resolve discrepancies
- Track device returns, invoice unreturned inventory, and assist finance teams with administrative reporting
Requirements of the payroll & accounting specialist:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in payroll, accounting, or corporate finance
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven working knowledge of payroll processing, earnings adjustments, and deduction management
- Advanced software proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Experience utilizing Fishbowl inventory software or QuickBooks accounting platforms preferred
