- Conduct comprehensive substance-use assessments and help determine appropriate ASAM level of care.
- Develop, review and update individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group and family SUD counseling.
- Provide clinical services for clients in SAIOP, SACOT, ASAM 3.1 and ASAM 3.5 , as applicable to Pinnacle’s licensed/contracted services.
- Complete intake, screening, discharge and transition planning.
- Perform crisis intervention and suicide-risk procedures within training/scope.
- Document clinical services in the EHR and ensure documentation supports Medicaid/MCO requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment-team meetings.
- Coordinate referrals to psychiatry, medical care, detoxification, higher/lower levels of care and community resources.
- Monitor client progress and recommend changes in level of care.
- Help maintain compliance with NC DHHS, Medicaid/MCO, accreditation and agency policies.
- Provide ongoing supervision to fully credentialed CADCs/CCJPs
