About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU will perform an age‑specific plan of care for patients using the nursing process. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a dynamic healthcare environment. Highlights Location: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time What You’ll Do Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures. Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition. Assess level of pain and pain management. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Identify actual/potential patient problems. Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities to achieve expected outcomes. Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. BLS certification required.
