Farm Lead

Job Description Summary We are looking for a farm supervisor who needs to have strong leadership and communication skills. Experience is the primary factor in landing a job as a poultry farm but college courses or a degree in a relevant field, such as agribusiness or animal science, is recommended. Job Description Ensures the safety and efficiency of poultry farm operations Prioritizes tasks and decides on the necessary amount of machinery and number of workers Records data and creates reports on worker attendance, budget, supplies and animal growth Assigns duties to farm workers and ensures that they are carried out in an efficient manner Oversees the machinery that performs certain tasks, such as egg collection Trains new workers, provides care to injured or ill livestock, and enforces workplace sanitation practices to prevent the spread of disease Job Qualifications Previous experience in a farm setting is required Bachelor's degree with some study in business Good communication skills Great interpersonal skills Sound work ethic and able to supervise team Ability to work in any environment Ability to solve problems if any We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
