Summit Hair & Spa LLC is looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team in Summit, NJ! This is your chance to bring your creativity and expertise to a welcoming salon environment where clients leave feeling their absolute best. Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, highlights, and styling
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend personalized treatments
- Perform blowouts, updos, and specialty styling for everyday and special occasions
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times
- Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Collaborate with salon team members to ensure a positive guest experience
- Valid New Jersey Cosmetology License required
- Experience in cutting, coloring, and styling for diverse hair types
- Strong knowledge of professional hair care products and tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Self-motivated with a passion for the beauty industry and continuous learning
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
