Production Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler/ Quality Inspector to join our plastics manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense as a technical inspector , ensuring our plastic components meet rigorous industry standards within our production facility. Whether you are coming from a background in precision assembly , have experience in a warehouse setting, or have a foundational start in manufacturing , your eye for detail as an inspector will ensure every product leaving our warehouse is of the highest caliber.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting thorough visual and tactile inspections of molded plastic parts to identify defects such as flash, warping, or short shots.
• Performing dimensional inspections as a lead inspector using precision measuring instruments to ensure assembly parts adhere to blueprint specifications.
• Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate logs for the production batches.
• Collaborating with the assembly and production teams to troubleshoot recurring issues.
• Quarantining non-conforming materials and assisting in root-cause analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing Background: At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing , warehouse , or production environment is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: * Strong familiarity with calipers and micrometers is a significant plus for any inspector .
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or work instructions.
• Assembly Experience: Previous experience in precision assembly is highly valued, as it provides a deep understanding of part fitment and functionality.
• Quality Focus: Ability to spot minute deviations in color, texture, and measurement to maintain high quality standards.
• Mathematical Aptitude: Comfortable performing basic calculations for measurement recording and tolerance checks.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting defects to supervisors and peers.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and handle small-to-medium plastic components frequently.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience, education, certifications, and specific job-related skills. $20 - $24/hr
