Metis is searching for a Risk Control Consultant to join our Risk Control Team!

You'll Do Things Like:

• Evaluate client loss exposures and potential risk factors, and recommend appropriate risk management practices for automobile, property, general liability, law enforcement, and workers’ compensation exposures.
• Develop and conduct training and seminars on safety and risk management topics.
• Conduct facility safety assessments focused on potential workers’ compensation, general liability, and fire safety risks.
• Prepare detailed safety assessment reports, including client communications, photographs, hazard statements, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two (2) or more years of experience in risk management, safety, or a related field required. 
• Strong public speaking, communication, and computer skills required.
• College degree preferred.
• GSP, ASP, CSP, OSHA, or ARM designation(s) or ability to obtain, preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to travel in Virginia and / or West Virginia.
• Proof of a valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV records and current liability insurance. 

Expected Salary Range: $48,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on education, certifications, and experience.
