Speech Language Pathologist - SLP

Speech Language Pathologist – Synchrony Rehab Licensed Speech Language Pathologist needed. Must have an active or pending SLPCCC state license. Position Overview The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides a full range of speech‑language pathology services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, consistent with professional practices and ethical standards. Licenses and Certifications Current mandatory state SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA – preferred or required Current valid CPR certification – preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program 0‑1 years of clinical experience Roles and Responsibilities Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals. Provide therapy to improve patients’ communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Educate patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for daily life. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans per policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Other duties as assigned.
