Respiratory Therapist - Level IV NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

This position is for a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Level IV NICU care, accepting candidates with Level III NICU experience. The therapist will participate in high-risk deliveries and C-sections, ensuring expert care for neonatal patients with complex respiratory needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate respiratory equipment, including oscillators and high-frequency jet ventilators.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and assist with neonatal resuscitation.
• Monitor and provide care for neonates requiring respiratory support, including nitric oxide therapy.
• Document and chart patient assessments accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care Level III NICU experience.
• Active NJ Respiratory Therapist License.
• Current certifications in RRT, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• No travelers pairs accepted; individual submissions only.
