Java and AWS Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java and AWS Developer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading technical design and development, converting functional requirements into scalable system designs, and guiding teams through development, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java and AWS Developer Job Responsibilities include: Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS. Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, high-performance system designs and technical solutions. Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and cloud-native applications following TDD and CI/CD best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in design reviews, code reviews, and solution discussions. Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical guidance to development team members. Build and maintain secure, reliable applications leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and PostgreSQL. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development with expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies. Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and cloud-native application development.
