Nurse Manager – Operating Room

Montefiore Einstein is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape perioperative nursing practice while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

In this role, you will oversee all clinical and administrative operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and effective resource management. You will create an environment where nurses thrive—empowering staff through mentorship, professional growth, and teamwork—while advancing Montefiore’s mission, vision, and values.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and inspire a skilled perioperative nursing team.
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Manage clinical operations, budgets, staffing, and resources.
• Drive quality initiatives, innovation, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate across disciplines to strengthen outcomes and patient experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current NYS RN license (or permit) and registration.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years perioperative nursing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of managerial experience.
• C.N.O.R. and BLS certification.
• Active A.O.R.N. membership.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

Salary: $160,000.00 to $200,000.00
