Hiring Department MRR Administration Job Description The Customer Service Lead reports to the Manager of CustomerService and plays a key role in coordinating complex internationallogistics operations that support the timely delivery of MURRproducts and services around the world. This position serves as atrusted resource for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuringseamless logistics, regulatory compliance, and exceptional servicethroughout the process. Key Responsibilities Deliver a customer-focused experience by resolving in-transitfreight issues and providing timely updates on shipmentstatus. Manage daily import and export operations, ensuring compliancewith applicable regulations and program requirements. Conduct Descartes Denied Party Screenings and oversee ACE(Automated Commercial Environment) activities in coordination withU.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the MUOffice of Export Control to support compliance efforts. Record transportation activities accurately and efficiently toensure operational visibility and accountability. Partner with carriers and the MURR shipping team to coordinatedomestic and international shipments. Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes andrecommend practical solutions that enhance efficiency andservice. Maintain expertise in carrier schedules, shipping options, costs,and performance to support informed decision-making. Evaluate and recommend shipping solutions for prospectivecustomers based on business and logistical needs. Serve as an active member of the customer service team,contributing to a collaborative and responsive workenvironment. Stay current on domestic and international shipping regulationsand industry requirements. Build strong relationships and maintain clear, professionalcommunication with customers, carriers, and internalstakeholders. Shift Monday through Friday - 8:00AM to 5:00PM Position may require work outside of this schedule due to ourinternational customers and shipping routes. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent combination of education andexperience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparableknowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience with import and export regulations. Power BI familiarity / certifications Project Management (PMP) experience in the AGILE programmingmethodology CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) and CES (Certified ExportSpecialist) preferred Knowledge of international shipping and logisticsoperations. Familiarity with export compliance processes, denied partyscreening requirements, and ACE management.
