R&D Technician I
Our client, a leading organization in the food and nutrition industry, is seeking a dedicated R&D Technician I to join their innovative team. As an R&D Technician I, you will be an essential part of the Research & Development department supporting product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for food science, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Range: $24/hr on w2
What's the Job?
- Support product development of nutritional liquid and powder products in research manufacturing facilities
- Coordinate analytical testing of products, including preparing testing protocols and compiling results
- Conduct qualitative evaluations of products to ensure quality standards
- Organize laboratory activities, manage research ingredients, and enter formulations into development systems
- Assist in manufacturing product batches, including requesting manufacturing line time, weighing ingredients, and filling containers
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
- Internship or equivalent experience at a food company preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
