Network/Firewall Security ArchitectJob#: 3055235Job Description:Network/Firewall Security ArchitectLocation: Austin, Texas (Remote)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Network/Firewall Security Architect for a proactive requirement to build a pipeline for our IRR business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture and firewall management. This role requires the ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed to support security initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze firewall rules and network configurations to identify and address gaps.Block identified Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) at the network perimeter.Review and refine firewall rulesets to enhance the overall security posture.Implement controls to limit ingress and egress traffic to the environment.Perform appliance patching and updates to bring network infrastructure to current levels.Deploy secure VPN / ZTNA solutions.Create new network segments to isolate critical systems and support recovery efforts.Required QualificationsExperience: 5+ years of experience in Network Architecture.Technical Skills: Strong experience with firewalls, such as Palo Alto.Company Overview & CultureOur organization is a leader in the technology industry, focused on providing professional services and global cybersecurity solutions.
