Excel Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our private, one-on-one practice.

Our model is built around quality care, clinical independence, and individualized treatment . Every patient receives a full 60-minute session with their physical therapist , with no double-booking or overlapping appointments.

We treat patients of all ages and activity levels with a wide variety of orthopedic, sports, musculoskeletal, and post-operative conditions. We’re looking for a clinician who is confident working independently, values personalized care, and wants the time to focus on each patient.

Position Highlights

• $85,000–$105,000 annual salary
• Four-day workweek: Tuesday–Friday, four 10-hour days
• 60-minute, one-on-one treatment sessions
• Maximum 36 patient visits per week

The Position

As an Excel Physical Therapy clinician, you will independently manage your patients from initial evaluation through discharge.

You’ll evaluate and treat a diverse patient population, including adolescents, athletes, active adults, working professionals, and older adults. Conditions range from acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries to spinal conditions, sports injuries, overuse conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Treatment may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional and sports-specific training, Trigger Point Dry Needling , and other evidence-informed interventions appropriate to each patient’s needs and goals.

Because every appointment is one-on-one, you’ll have the time and flexibility to provide truly individualized care rather than managing multiple patients simultaneously.

Independence & Responsibilities

This position provides substantial professional autonomy and is best suited for a therapist who is self-directed, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their caseload .

In addition to providing patient care, you will:

• Manage your own patient schedule and follow-up appointments
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Manage appropriate billing and coding for services provided
• Develop and progress individualized plans of care
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain continuity of care from evaluation through discharge

We provide the independence to manage your patients according to your clinical judgment and expect our therapists to take responsibility for both the clinical and administrative aspects of their caseload.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Strong orthopedic examination and clinical reasoning skills
• Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise background
• Experience treating a broad range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to independently manage scheduling and billing responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Dry Needling certification
• 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
• Strong sports and orthopedic background
• Experience treating athletes and active individuals
• Advanced orthopedic, manual therapy, or sports rehabilitation training

You should be comfortable treating a broad orthopedic caseload and confident making clinical decisions without extensive oversight. Just as importantly, you should be organized enough to manage your own scheduling, documentation, and billing.

We’re looking for someone who wants the autonomy of private practice without the patient volume of a traditional outpatient clinic.

Excel Physical Therapy provides up to $1,500 annually for approved continuing education , along with paid time off for the days spent attending approved courses .
