Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MS/Tele specialty is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday

Qualifications

• 12 months of combined permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty is required.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state nursing license is required.
• AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to starting the role.
• Epic experience is essential.
• A recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission qualifications.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, the following assessments will be conducted:

• ECG rhythm recognition test
• SafeMedicate assessment

Acceptable scores on both assessments are mandatory for continued employment.

Working Environment

The position is located within a busy oncology/medical unit, providing essential nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs. The RN will work closely with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
