Pharmacy Technician in Nashville, TN

Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available for a mail-order renal specialty pharmacy in Nashville, TN, offering 12-week plus assignments with potential for temp-to-hire. The facility processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily using the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system without automation.


Schedule:

• One position: 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• One position: 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Responsibilities include supporting either customer service or dispensing functions. Customer service technicians will verify shipping details, enter new patient information, and update patient profiles within the pharmacy software. Dispensing technicians will be responsible for accurately filling and dispensing medications.


Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician experience in either dispensing or customer service roles
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems preferred; experience with Wellsky is a plus
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, mail-order pharmacy environment
• PTCB certification required for candidates considered for permanent placement
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
