Cardiovascular Surgical Physician Assistant

Join our Cardiology and Open Heart Cardiovascular Surgical team as a Physician Assistant! Serving the tri-state area, our nurse practitioner and physician assistant teams see cases flown in from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. The primary focus of this position is to first assist in surgery including endoscopic vein harvesting, but you'll also see patients pre and post-operatively on the floors.

Location:
• 500 bed full service medical center in Memphis Tennessee
• Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center
• Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery
• One of Tennessee's busiest ERs with over 80,000 visits per year
• No state income tax and low cost of living
• Home to world-class BBQ, vibrant arts district, and legendary music heritage

Team and Scope:
• Full time, no travel
• Monday - Friday
• 0700 - 1600 w/ 1:3 call
• OR first assist + inpatient rounding
• Congenital heart defects, TAVR, CABG, MitraClip, carotid blockage, aneurysms

Requirements:
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant with surgical experience
• Unrestricted license in Tennessee
• Experience First Assisting in OR required
• Experience with CT patients required
• Vein harvesting experience required
• New graduates with requisite exposure welcomed to apply
• H1B sponsorship is not available at this time
