Location: Paonia Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: Night Shift (Thursday – Saturday) Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) assignment in a skilled nursing facility. This night-shift role is ideal for a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a patient-centered environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care to residents requiring ongoing medical support. The RN will be responsible for overseeing patient care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of residents during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents Minimum Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice) Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred Ability to work night shifts consistently (Thursday – Saturday) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications Prior travel nursing or contract experience Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills Time management and organizational abilities Ability to work independently during night shifts Attention to detail and commitment to quality care Why Paonia?
