A-OX Welding Supply, a leading supplier of full-range industrial, medical and specialty gases, is seeking an Inventory Control /Sales Associate to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. This position involves managing inventory, assisting walk-in customers, handling shipping and receiving. Have you previous inventory and customer service experience, A-OX wants to hear from you! Competitive pay: Starting between $19-$24/hr, based on experience. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred Welding knowledge a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift at least 50lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, pulling, pushing) Strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive team-oriented attitude Ability to work independently and collaboratively Essential duties/responsibilities: Maintain and restock showroom inventory Locate and resolve inventory discrepancies (e.g., stock numbers, item locations) Assist with shipping and receiving tasks Greet and assist walk-in customers – serve as the first point of contact Answer phone calls, take orders, and resolve customer inquiries Serve as Hot shot driver for same day deliveries as needed Perform general warehouse maintenance and cleanup Operate forklift as needed About the Companies: Since the 1950’s, A-OX has been one of the largest, most complete distributors of industrial gas and welding supply in the upper Midwest.
