Mechanical Drafter

Our client, a leading organization in the electrical and industrial solutions sector, is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join their team. As a Mechanical Drafter, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting design and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

Location: Charleroi, PA

Pay rate : $29.39/hr.

What's the Job?

• Perform mechanical drafting using current generation AutoCAD software to create precise drawings.

• Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings for customer approval and manufacturing of Circuit Breaker products.

• Convert CAD files as needed to ensure compatibility and accuracy across platforms.

• Utilize ProEngineer to generate 3D models for customer circuit breakers upon request.

• Review mechanical and electrical drawing packages for technical and typographical errors to ensure quality and compliance.

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Drafting, 3D Modeling, or Mechanical Design.

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Pro-E.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and documentation processes.

• Ability to manage and maintain engineering drawing files within document management systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to meet project deadlines.
