Traveling Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Description FronteraCare delivers life‑changing autism services to children and families across New Mexico and Colorado, providing high‑quality diagnostic evaluations and ABA therapy. Our clinicians are dedicated to evidence‑based, compassionate care that places families at the heart of treatment. Role Overview This is a travel‑based BCBA position supporting our Northern New Mexico work across Española and Santa Fe. The role requires approximately six days per month of in‑person presence, which may be structured as two 3‑day trips or one longer monthly trip depending on needs. FronteraCare covers approved travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and meals, in accordance with company policy. Responsibilities Conduct behavior or functional Analytic Assessment Process. Develop case supervision and clinical management plans. Create and implement ABA Treatment Plans. Consult with RBTs/BTs regarding client/family concerns. Select appropriate stimulus materials and treatment modalities based on client age and ability. Include clients/families in setting treatment goals and train families on strategies and carry‑over skills. Provide clear, concise instructions during therapy sessions. Record and track daily progress accurately. Utilize session time efficiently to meet objectives. Provide accurate and immediate feedback to clients and families. Plan for discharge of the client. General Requirements General knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Managerial experience. Proficiency with Excel, database management, and record keeping. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. High level of confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills. Completed stage two assessments. Ability to perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification. Master's Degree in Psychology or a related field, emphasizing Applied Behavior Analysis. Two or more years of experience working with a pediatric population. Two or more years of experience in an applied setting performing functional assessments, developing and implementing functional behavior plans, and overseeing program implementation and adjustments. Membership in state and national professional associations (e.g., ABAI) highly recommended. One or more year of Telehealth supervision experience. Location in NM, AZ, TX, NV, UT, or CO. Availability to work within the hours of 9 a.m.–6 p.m. MT. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $100,000–115,000 USD, based on experience, education, and skills.
