ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in a high-acuity Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). This position requires strong cardiac experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients within the cardiovascular service line.

Job Overview

This position involves:

• Shift: Nights (7p - 7a)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity cardiac patients.
• Monitoring patient conditions and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Using advanced nursing skills and knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Documenting patient information accurately and timely within electronic health record systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU or cardiac care setting.
• Certifications:
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Additional Skills: Strong cardiac experience is essential.

Additional Information

This role offers the opportunity to work in one of the busiest and most dynamic unit environments, with plans for transitioning to the EPIC electronic health record system in November 2026.
