About the Position

Job Title: Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology Tech Specialty: Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3-12 hour shifts Hours per Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible. Certifications: Healthcare Provider certification required (BLS). Must-Have: - ARRT Certification - Radiologic Procedures - Radiographic Techniques - Patient Positioning - Clienttion Protection Description: Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required. This is a Level II Trauma Center. Minimum experience required is one year. Preferred skills include patient immobilization, intravenous contrast media administration, patient care, infection control practices, teaching, teamwork, communication, customer service, PACS, radiology information system, and clinical documentation. Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
