Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for Senior Accountant to join their team full-time. You will play a vital role in enhancing automation within our financial systems and improving financial processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player with knowledge of job revenue and cost, GAAP, and internal controls. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $140,000 per hour.

• Prepare Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and forecasts.
  
  
• Analyze job budgets, costs, profits, revenues, billings, and backlogs.
  
  
• Track, collect, and enter fixed asset data in Bloomberg Tax & Accounting software.
  
  
• Perform month-end close activities, including job cost allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  
  
• Support the accounting team with annual audit documentation, respond to audit inquiries, and ensure timely year-end audit deliverables.
  
  
• Conduct ongoing analytical reviews to support the monthly billing process.
  
  
• Participate in process improvements and automation of manual processes to achieve efficiency and scalability.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  
  
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  
• 5+ years of combined accounting and construction industry experience.
  
  
• Experience with Work in Progress schedules.
  
  
• Experience with fixed asset management.
  
  
• Experience with lease accounting.
  
  
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules and standards.
  
  
• Familiarity with Job Cost accounting principles.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
