Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Finance Technology Solutions Lead to shape the technology vision supporting a complex, global Finance organization. This South Florida-based leader will own the Finance solutions roadmap, guide process and platform decisions, and ensure technology investments produce measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines deep finance-process expertise with a strong record of leading enterprise Finance, FP&A, and Controlling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the strategic technology roadmap for Finance and Controlling capabilities.
• Translate Finance strategy, operating needs, and performance goals into scalable process, data, and technology solutions.
• Advise senior stakeholders on global process and platform decisions while balancing business priorities, enterprise standards, risk, cost, and value.
• Lead Finance solution initiatives from concept through implementation, including scope, business cases, requirements, delivery governance, and benefit realization.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure solutions align with integration, security, data, and long-term platform standards.
• Coordinate with delivery leaders to keep programs aligned with business objectives, timelines, quality expectations, and operational outcomes.
• Evaluate high-level requirements and cost-benefit considerations to recommend practical, sustainable solutions.
• Protect solution integrity by reviewing designs, validating changes, and maintaining consistency across the core enterprise platform and connected applications.
• Lead process-improvement and business-process-modeling efforts across Finance and related business functions.
• Guide external partners and suppliers through functional design, implementation, issue escalation, and delivery of new capabilities.
• Build organizational capability through knowledge transfer, mentoring, training, and standards-based process documentation.
• Monitor market and technology developments, bringing an outside-in perspective to Finance innovation and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive IT experience leading enterprise implementations that support Finance, FP&A, and Controlling.
• Several years in leadership, product-owner, or solution-owner roles partnering directly with senior Finance stakeholders.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling and associated financial-planning solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading complex Finance transformation programs and developing investment business cases.
• Deep understanding of integrated Finance processes, including general ledger, payables, receivables, costing, treasury, consolidation, procurement, and master data.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with procurement processes and their integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling; this experience is required.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with complementary planning, close-management, receivables, analytics, automation, and process-mining platforms.
• Strong background in business-process management, process modeling, standards-based documentation, and solution governance.
• Ability to communicate complex technology and process concepts clearly to executives, business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
• Proven analytical, planning, prioritization, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Performance Objectives:

• Lead S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Product Costing) design and configuration
• Map and automate end-to-end costing from cane receipt through refined sugar and by-products, reducing manual journal entries by 40% and delivering real-time margin visibility to operations.
• Integrate finance with existing mill, warehouse, and logistics processes so inventory valuation and COGS are accurate to within 1% of physical counts at every period end.
• Build and train a core super-user group that independently handles 80% of month-end activities and first-level support within six months of cutover.
• Deliver a clean audit trail and SOX-ready controls that pass internal and external reviews with zero material deficiencies in the first post-go-live year.
• Identify and realize at least $500K in process or working-capital improvements (faster close, better cash forecasting, reduced write-offs) in the first 18 months.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven delivery of at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation in a process-manufacturing or CPG environment.
• Hands-on configuration expertise in FI, CO, Product Costing, and Material Ledger that produced measurable close-time or costing-accuracy gains.
• Ability to translate manufacturing and packing operations into SAP master data and processes that operations teams actually use.
• Experience training non-IT users and building sustainable super-user capability.
• Strong grasp of internal controls and audit requirements in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant enterprise-platform certification preferred.
• Experience supporting a complex global organization with significant operational, supply-chain, or manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integration, robotic process automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and modern analytics is valuable.
• Bilingual capability is a plus.
