Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk Labor and Delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
• Actively manage laboring patients through induction, augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
• Care for Antepartum patients at appropriate staffing ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
• Float between units as needed within the facility or sister facilities
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license
• Experience in acute care, high-risk Labor and Delivery
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work night shifts including some weekend shifts
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with Antepartum care and management of maternal emergencies
• Experience with VBAC/TOLAC and active labor management protocols
