Electrician - Journeyman in La Mirada

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician. You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers. Responsibilities Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems Troubleshoot motor and control systems Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Adhere to all quality and safety codes Be able to lead, instruct and layout crew daily. The ability to carry out duties and meet deadlines. Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams and create a materials takeoff list Must maintain daily log of job site occurrences Understand and follow work rules and procedures Clean and neat appearance. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule Qualifications Minimum of six (6) years experience as an electrician Clean driving record and reliable transportation Possess safety shoes, hard hat and safety vests Speak English (Although Spanish is a plus!) Strong work ethic along with communication skills and interpersonal skills Consent to background check and drug test All hand tools/cordless tools a must Knowledge of local city & state electrical codes Ability to troubleshoot Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffold, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures The "know how" to operate a scissor lift safely is a plus!
