Associate Clinical Specialist, CRM - Columbia, SC

Abbott seeks an Associate Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Columbia, SC. The role provides engineering, clinical, and educational support to physicians and healthcare professionals, requiring a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or equivalent experience, with knowledge of cardiology and cardiac pacing systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as clinical interface between medical community and Abbott business
- Build and maintain credible relationships with healthcare professionals and customers
- Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for CRM product inquiries
- Develop and lead training sessions on cardiac rhythm management products
- Support CRM sales representatives with backup technical assistance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related healthcare field
- 0-2 years related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
- Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication with presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer graphics software
Compensation: $55,300-$110,700 base
