A full-time contract opportunity is open for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is passionate about helping students reach their communication goals. This position is based in a supportive educational environment and focuses on working with 8th and 9th graders. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through January 19, 2027. Key Qualifications & Experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Experience with adolescent populations, particularly grades 8 and 9 Familiarity with school-based therapy and navigating IEP processes Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Comfort with both individual therapy and small group sessions What You’ll Be Doing: Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in 8th and 9th grade centers Provide both individual and group sessions, tailoring interventions to student needs Manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 Speech Only IEP students, ensuring documentation and goals are met according to state and district regulations Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to maximize student progress Utilize a 6-day cycle schedule, working from 7:30am to 2:30pm each day Track students' progress, monitor goals, and participate in IEP meetings as needed This is a fantastic opportunity for an SLP who values direct student impact in a structured, positive school setting—ideal for those who thrive on building relationships and supporting academic growth.
