Shift: Nights 1800–0600; 3x12 rotating with a 6 days on/8 days off pattern. Travel assignment in a hospital setting under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,820–$1,899 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights 1800–0600, 3x12 rotating (6 days on, 8 days off) Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: hospital Responsibilities Deliver Respiratory Care services per physician orders and department policies, including patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient education for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies Triage safely, rapidly, and accurately in the emergency care system; determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow considerations Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and communicate updates to ED physicians regarding symptoms, status changes, and diagnostic results Perform procedures such as ventilator management, airway care, bronchodilator therapy, aerosolized medications, and breathing treatments; adjust care plans per orders and patient response Document care accurately, adhere to infection control and safety policies, and educate patients, caregivers, and the community as appropriate Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure timely delivery of respiratory therapy services Requirements Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy BCLS and ACLS certification (active) NBRC credential in good standing AARC/USRC Membership preferred Ability to work nights and a 6 days on/8 days off rotation in a hospital setting Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel period Guaranteed hours as defined by the contract Competitive weekly pay for travel assignments Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
