Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the design, implementation, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of warehouse automation systems, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). This role will focus on improving material flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within GMP-regulated manufacturing and warehouse environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, material handling automation, system integration, and validation while collaborating closely with Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and third-party vendors

Key Responsibilitie

• s:Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for ASRS, AGVs, conveyors, barcode scanners, and warehouse material handling system
• s.Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC/HMI/SCADA systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk, and Studio 500
• 0.Support integration between warehouse automation systems and MES, WMS, and ERP systems for inventory tracking and material movemen
• t.Execute commissioning, startup, FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and validation activities for automated warehouse system
• s.Develop and review automation documentation including URS, FS, DS, SDS, validation protocols, and report
• s.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ASRS cranes, AGVs, conveyors, sensors, barcode systems, and control systems to minimize downtim
• e.Perform I/O verification, loop checks, control logic testing, and system simulations during installation and startu
• p.Collaborate with Warehouse Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, IT/OT, and external vendors to ensure seamless automation integratio
• n.Manage change controls, deviations, CAPA investigations, and root cause analysis for automation system
• s.Support continuous improvement projects focused on throughput optimization, inventory accuracy, material traceability, and process efficienc
• y.Coordinate with third-party vendors and system integrators for equipment installation, upgrades, and support activitie
• s.Ensure compliance with GAMP 5, cGMP, FDA, and data integrity (ALCOA+) requirement

Required Qualificatio

• ns:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fie
• ld.3+ years of experience in industrial automation, warehouse automation, or material handling syste
